A Pie Cake

Yield: 4 Servings

Ingredients and directions for this recipe

4 c Flour
1 c White sugar (granulated)
1 c Light brown sugar
1 c Shortening or butter
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 Egg
1 c Sour milk

Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in bowl with butter. Add 1 beaten
egg to milk. Add 1 cup sour milk and baking soda. Mix with hands,
like you would for pie dough. When thoroughly mixed, cut into 4
